Funderar ibland på tillgänglighet på webben och försöker dra paralleller till samhället. Ofta tänker jag (och jag tror att många andra gör det också) på hur jag ska göra t.ex. en webbsida så tillgänglig som möjligt. Men tänk om vi tänker fel? Att vi försöker dra slutsatser baklänges?

Det var ett tag sedan jag skrev.... Just den meningen brukar indikera "extra tråkig text följer". Men det var ett tag sedan. Livet är fullt just nu. Massor av jobb, pluggar heltid vid sidan av jobbet. Ta hand om hus, barn, katt, skjutsningar, aktiviteter, läxor. En otroligt skön grej just nu är biblan!! Försöker åka dit med Elliot (7 månader) så fort jag kan. Då tar jag med mig vår fina nya vagn, en termos kaffe, blöjor, frukt och så tar vi bussen till stan och leker på biblan.

Hoppas 2012 för med sig allt du önskar eller åtminstone det du behöver ^.^

Själv fortsätter jag kursen för Emma Jane Hogbin i Responsive Web Design. Den har varit över förväntan hittills och framöver väntar tre fallexempel som vi ska jobba på. Hur kul som helst.

Sen i övrigt kommer jag påbörja min utbildning till operationssjuksköterska (specialistutbildning) nu i januari!! Vet inte hur jag ska hinna men det går nog, på nått sätt.

Har länge funderat över hur mycket saker och ting egentligen tar för mycket tid i anspråk. Man tror att man ska hinna så himla mycket och blir alltid nedslagen när man inser att det helt enkelt inte går. Har också länge sökt efter sätt att hantera mitt engagemang på webben. Det spretar alltid och det finns alltid saker jag glömmer bort eller inte hinner, sen har det plötsligt gått flera månader och det känns som om det är för sent att göra nått åt det...

I have used a software called Piwik quite some time now to keep track of statistics for the pages that I built in Drupal. Piwik is another fantastic example of how the open source community is working very well!

Lots of people spend lots of time to build things that You and I can use for free. If that does not make Your heart warm then I don´t know what does ^. ^

This is a date to remember! But Exampleunfortunately I will probably be asleep at this time because I´ve been working all night at the hospital I work at ;-)

Assimilating Drupal and its culture is a large task to take on. The community is enormous and it happens a lot all the time! An excellent way, I think, is to listen to what people tweet! You get lots of links and tips. I have registered for a course in Responsive / Adaptive webdesign for Emma Jane Hogbin! Beginning December 1, so now you just have to keep listening!

So that's what I am doing if you where ever wondering ^.^

I started this site yesterday and have been working on it for a few hours now and I think that the basic structure is set. I think that one of the reasons that people think Drupal is hard to learn is due to the fact that it doesn't contain much when You first install it. It looks empty. But it is fun to put things together and the possibilities are enormous!

This is the modules I have been working with right now:
- Views (of course ;-)
- DHTML menus
- Pathauto
- Taxonomy
- Menu
- Aggregator

More to come next week or so. ^.^

This is a very handy way to create a category listing of content in different Views pages.
1. Create a new View.
2. Add both a page and a block.
3. Add content that the page is going to display.
4. Add "Contextual filters" - "Content: Has taxonomy term ID"
5.Select: "Display a summary"

Save and that's that ;-)
Thus, it is step 4 that makes the trick. (!)
